Thorald Koren is a voice and behavioral coach, multi-instrumentalist, member of the brother duo Fransansisco, and part of the writer/producer team Bråves.

During his early career, Thorald experienced critical obsessive compulsive disorder, which debilitated him and his ability to be fully present in his life. After hitting rock bottom, Thorald slowly found a pathway through the madness. He created “voice as a whole body instrument” as a response to what he discovered. His experience has given him an intimate knowledge of the workings of the human brain and the emotional body.

As a vocal producer, Thorald coaches people on forming a new relationship to their brain, body, and voice, guiding them to become "comfortably uncomfortable" with their own biological alarm systems, therein allowing themselves to be radically free to express themselves fully and powerfully, and be present to the experience of singing.

Isaac Koren

Isaac Koren is committed to serving transformation through creative expression. His passion is to hold space for people to realize and embody their innate value through the mirror of songwriting. After hearing a voice as a kid that told him ‘ you will sing’, he is now a passionate seeker of the gifts of people’s life stories that are bursting to come out, as co-founder of The Songwriters Journey and Your Big Voice.

After a teenage onset of depression and acute liver disease, Isaac returned to music and singing for healing. After a three month recovery, he began a twenty year research at Northeastern University, a journey that has led him to a deeper understanding of what he calls ‘Musical Cosmology’.

For Isaac, music is living in the architecture of life itself, everything in the universe is singing itself into being. He connects to the source through improvisation and illumination, singing is a way of living true and whole. He is focused on exploring the receptive side of the human voice, where deeper listening brings expanded expression and the transformative power of song on the human being.

Love the alchemy that happens in the space the Brothers Koren and Eileen McKusick weave together. It’s playful, soulful, healing and honest.

Being a student with Eileen, Thorald and Isaac was game changing for me. An amazing framework based on their years of experience with the freedom to explore, play and be curious to take risks personally and professionally to step deeper into alchemy of sound. In gratitude and joy.

Sing The Body Electric Origins

The Tones and the Demitones of the Sonic Anatomy - which comprise the fundamental basis of the Sing the Body Electric program - were the unintentional outcome of Eileen’s “Songwriter’s Journey” with Isaac and Thorald.

Eileen’s own 25 year journey working with tuning forks had led her to a deep understanding of the acoustic emotional terrain of the body and its biofield and how it interacted with sound.

Wanting to figure out how to apply what she had learned into popular music, Eileen was serendipitously led to Isaac and Thorald in August of 2019. While their original plan was to co-create and record some original songs together, what ended up happening was the discovery and creation of the Sonic Anatomy and the Sing the Body Electric Program.
