SING THE BODY ELECTRIC

Indie / Rock

Formerly known as "ChChCh HaHaHa", Southern California's Sing the Body Electric combines colorful musical harmonies with clever rhythms and honest, ballsy rock n' roll vocals. Compiling their diverse past experiences, this band's music is extremely introspective and engaging. Sing the Body Electric formed as an inspiring side-project by Adam Lewis (Guitar) and Damon Delapaz (Drums) while in Fenix TX (MCA Records). When Fenix TX called it quits, Sing the Body Electric was allowed to evolve as a more serious project. Adding Jason Torbert (CigaR) on Bass, Tony Montemarano (the little pirate) on keyboards/guitar, and lead vocalist Anthony Scalamere (also known as "Ragdoll" in the skateboarding world), Sing the Body Electric recorded, mixed and mastered 10 songs by October, 2003. The quintet's propensity for thoughtful instrumentation and genuine melodies is remarkably unique and nothing short of energetic. Every song on the recent self-released recording holds unpretentious & powerful vocals, and intricate rhythms that take more than one listen to absorb. Yet, despite all of the underlying complexities in Sing the Body Electric's music, their songs somehow always seem sincere, honest and simply compelling.
